Why do some block drives sink in wheel tracks?
Insufficient sub-base. Blocks are only the wearing surface, the strength is in the ground preparation, which is exactly the part you cannot see and rogue installers skip. Ours is specified in the quote so you know what you are getting.
Can you repair my existing block paving?
Often, yes, re-levelling sunken areas, replacing damaged blocks and re-sanding joints costs far less than a new drive when the base is fundamentally sound.
Is block paving permeable?
Standard block paving drains via falls, but permeable block systems are available where SuDS compliance matters, we will advise which your project needs.
